Centrum Air now offers twice-weekly direct flights between Nukus, Aktau, and Almaty
Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air has introduced new direct flights linking Nukus (Karakalpakstan), Aktau, and Almaty, boosting connectivity across Central Asia and supporting regional tourism and trade.
As of July 3, 2025, flights now operate twice weekly between Nukus and Aktau (Thursdays and Sundays) and between Nukus and Almaty (Thursdays and Saturdays). Additionally, Tashkent–Almaty flights are available on Mondays and Thursdays, making travel between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan more accessible.
These new routes are part of Kazakhstan’s broader plan to expand its international air links, with 32 new flight directions being launched in 2025—15 to brand-new destinations. The goal is to streamline travel, reduce costs, and deepen cultural and economic partnerships across the region.
By directly connecting key cities like Almaty, Aktau, and Nukus, the plan marks a major improvement in Central Asia’s aviation landscape, offering new opportunities for both leisure and business travellers.
